The Corner Room Kitchen & Bar adds outdoor seating

The Corner Room restaurant announced that it recently added sidewalk tables on Federal Street, lining the side of the restaurant. To protect the restaurant guests from the heat of full sun, the Corner Room has also added awnings to the side of the restaurant.

“People in Maine want to take advantage of every bit of the summer,” said Corner Room owner Harding Lee Smith, “and that includes dining al fresco so they can enjoy the outdoors during a lunch break or a leisurely dinner.”

Another change at the popular Portland eatery is the decision to accept reservations, in response to repeated requests. Reservations are accepted for lunch and dinner and can be made by calling 879-4747.

The Corner Room Kitchen & Bar is at the intersection of Federal and Exchange at 110 Exchange St., 879-4747.
