Westbrook Police have charged a Portland man with drug trafficking after he allegedly sold prescription drugs to undercover police.

Chief William Baker said in a news release that Westbrook Police and Maine Drug Enforcement Agents arrested 26-year-old James Sulinski in Westbrook Crossing Shopping Center and charged him with trafficking in scheduled drugs. Sulinski allegedly sold Oxycodone and Morphine to undercover officers, police said.

Westbrook Police seized Sulinski's 2000 Audi A4 and are are seeking to have the car forfeited through the courts. "Funds from forfeiture proceedings and the sale of drug dealer's vehicles are used to further the fight in Westbrook against the distribution of illegal drugs," Baker said.

Police say other drug investigations are underway and that more arrests are likely.
